Painting series – Evergreen, tells about individual and universal perception of nature. They treat nature as something bigger than just background for human lives. Transformation of nature is something stable in our life. In some cases, transformations of nature could be observed as something eternal. Our lives are determined by these constant changes.
Most of my memories are permeated by sensual perception of nature.
Smell of soil after May rain; intensive, almost unnatural color of grass in September sun; meadow full of herbs and bees, and sun that I felt on the top of the head. Wreaths, bouquets, marian holidays. I didn’t want to treat this subject literal. I am far away from portraying clue of nature by tree, leaf or clump of grass. My aim was to depict the essence of the nature.
